| The Empowered Symbol and Empowered Zone is Born! |

It all began with a smile… and a twist of fate.
One day Regina was making a pair of whimsical sunshine smile earrings from her designer line, www.reginamariedesigns.com. As she was soldering one of the eyes, it slid out of place. Or so she thought... as it turned out, something magical was sliding into place. The ball of silver centered over the curved smile and she saw a symbol that made her pause, raise her arms, and shout an enthusiastic "YES!" Regina smiled and felt a surge of inspired energy! At that moment a realization came over her... there was something big in this little symbol. Adding the bottom triangle to form a body, immediately her muse whispered, "empowered." On that day, the Empowered Symbol was born! As Regina and Lisa explain the meaning of the symbol, they find people understand and relate to it immediately. The magic is spreading!
So what really is the Empowered Symbol? To us it is a miracle, to others an inspiration. By sharing the Empowered Symbol with the world, we want to remind others to believe in themselves, to rise above their challenges and to realize their dreams. We have created both sterling silver and bronze jewelry designs, along with t-shirts, hats and wicking shirts, all featuring the Empowered Symbol. Each offers the symbol along with one-word mantras, "Empowered," "Believe," "Dream," "Breathe and "Balance." To us, these life-affirming words are most important, but we are just beginning. There is so much more to come……….
We have participated in numerous events over the years with Empowered Zone and have been fortunate to meet people who understand what it means and what it takes to Believe in themselves. We have also met people with health challenges that have inspired us with their determination and spirit. Empowered Zone was started to deliver the message that we all have an internal voice of power and strength, we just have to remind ourselves to listen to it. The mantras we started with "Dream" and "Believe" meant much to us because it was our dream to launch this project and all we needed was to believe in ourselves to achieve it. We listened to our internal voices and we did it!
So that is where we are today, following our dream to develop an artistic line of products intended to inspire and motivate others.
Our Motto: "If I CAN dream it I CAN do it!"

As the founder of Empowered Zone, I am coming to this project from an artistic background. The symbol came to me in an inspired moment. I have life experiences that I want to share and essentially need to share with the world. I have been blessed with the opportunity to overcome many obstacles and challenges in my life. My success would not have been possible without the help and support of other women, who one day at a time, transformed their existence from days filled with hopelessness to lives full of gratitude and service to others. As I reach my 48th year on this planet, this seems to me to be the real reason we are all here.
